The holiday season was so busy I didn't have time to publish any thoughts or pictures about this sacred time of year. While it was totally hectic, possibly the craziest yet, we had a great Christmas together. We managed to visit family in Nevada and Kansas City and still wake up at home Christmas morning. It was wild, but so much fun. The magic of Christmas can only be duplicated at Disney World.
Another year of 3 believers was so fun. I am not sure if Carson is still completely on board with the whole idea, but he sure plays along. The logical side of him is really limiting his total commitment. I think I scared a real confession out of him last year when I said, "Those who believe receive." That was all it took. He may never admit to it.
With all the travelling and present opening, Knox was completely over stimulated and spoiled. He threw a huge fit Christmas morning kicking his LeapPad from Santa. He has been tainted by the apps the big kids play on their Kindle and the iPad, so his little learning apps were not cool enough for him. He has since come around and loves his LeapPad. It is actually pretty cool.
Maison was suckered into giving Carson the Kindle for his iPod touch. Everyone officially has their own technological device. Crazy! Maisy also got a karaoke machine and loves to watch herself in the television singing and shouting directions to everyone. A microphone was not such a good idea for my little loud mouth.
Carson spent the entire day of Christmas building his robotic arm. He got it working finally. It was a big accomplishment and neat to seem him working so hard. He loves to build things. The motors on this toy made it even more challenging for him.
All in all, it was a wonderful Christmas. I loved every second with our families and my kids. I just wish it lasted longer.
