This time of year always makes me sentimental, and I always like to make note of the things I love. This is my most current list.
I love snow. The quietness of it and the hope of a day off work.
I love cereal. Captain Crunch is my favorite.
I love notebooks and lists. It is the only way I stay even slightly organized.
I love sleeping with my husband. It has been months since it has just been two of us in bed, and I miss that.
I love sleeping with my baby. Missing time with him during the work week, it is nice to cuddle with him all night. I am sacrificing one toothless man for another.
I love reading good-night stories to Carson and Maisy. We snuggle up together in bed, and usually stay that way until Jeremy wakes me up.
I love spending time with one kid at a time. Individually they are both delightful. Carson is such a conversationalist and so wise for his age. I love to talk to him. Maisy has such a unique and creative perspective. She is really smart too, just very different. She sees things so differently, but with an explanation is very clever. She might be an artist when she grows up.
I love the rare mispronunciations. As the kids get older, their speech is so accurate. But, I love the occasional mispronunciation. The latest was Maisy calling a Rice Krispy bar a Crusty bar.
I love the look in Carson's eye when he mentions that "special girl" in his class. He always looks at me, just waiting for me to say something. It is a predictable conversation when her name is spoken.
I love when Jeremy gets home from work...finally some back-up. Not much, but I'll take what I can get.
I love how Knox quits crying when he hears my voice.
I love taking care of my kids when they are sick, which I have done a lot of lately. It gives me an excuse to spoil just one of them.
I love when family comes to visit. It is so fun having them near, if only for a few days.
I love my baby's smell and noises. I think he is one of the 3 cutest babies ever.
I love giving him a bath. He loves the water and kicks like crazy!
I love his fat little thighs!
I love chocolate covered raisins and hot wings.
I love Sponge Bob and ICarly.
I love being a minivan driving, mother of three. It is crazy, but everything I have ever wanted!
I love my husband for working so hard for us, even though he is miserable. He is a good man.
I love who and where I came from.
