Knox is at the obnoxious "Cheese" phase. It is really hard to get a good smile from him.

Carson has my teeth/fangs. Poor kid. He is really cute anyway, at least I think so. Mom's are blinded by love.

They make me smile.

Mad at Mom!

As taught by my Grandma, no holiday is complete without a family photo...tripod and all!
It was a beautiful, peaceful Easter. The Easter Bunny even hopped by and left some treats on the porch. He, actually she, hid a bunch of eggs too. The kids were furious that we didn't have time to hunt before church. I included a picture of their arm crossed temper tantrum when I told them they had to wait. After a nice service we came home and hunted eggs. Knox got a head start, but was more into eating his treats than hunting eggs. It was really cute to watch them all running around gathering their goodies. Of course, Carson can turn everything into a competition, so it did get a little heated at the end. The kids were really happy with everything the Easter Bunny brought. Knox and Maisy both got ball gloves. Knox is a lefty. We are excited about developing a little South Paw. Carson was super excited about his watermelon growing kit. He is my little nurturing soul. He loves plants. Finally we had a late brunch reservation. We went and all stuffed our faces. Maisy got the best eater award. She grazed and grazed with one full plate after another. All in all it was a beautiful Easter. After a few years of flying solo for Easter, we have gotten used to our own little traditions here. It was a beautiful day together.
