My Big Birthday Boy

Carson is 9!  Unbelievable...This was his Golden Birthday, but sadly one of the less memorable.  I feel so guilty, even as I type this, but we have been so busy that he hasn't even had a party.  I don't have one planned yet either.  He seems okay with it, but I just can't let it go.  We might do a sporty themed event some weekend soon.
Carson is a great kid, all the way around.  He is smart, kind, helpful, and hard working.  All of those great traits are on his terms though.  He is becoming more assertive and pushes the boundaries more and more with Jeremy and I.  Other adults don't get eye contact or a conversation, because he is so uncomfortable.  He holds nothing back at home.  I am going to read a book titled, Quiet, in hopes of understanding my little introverted, home body.  No matter what, we all love him tremendously.  He is the leader of the little people at our house, and they adore him!
We all watched some old video of Carson as a baby the other night.  It was so neat.  He was so smart and spoiled.  It really took me back.  It is a new birthday tradition.
