Bad Momma...So much to share

Where did the winter go?  Granted, I am glad it is gone, but it went fast.  We have been so busy!  Just when I think we cannot get any busier, we manage to pick up another sport or obligation.  Strangely February is notoriously our busiest month, which is weird since it is in the dead of winter.  Typically this tiny month is an overlap with sports schedules starts and finishes.  Last month we had competitions, games and practices in gymnastics, soccer, flag football (Team A and B), basketball, and baseball (CJ and Knox).  Weekends are slammed and the weeknights packed.  Jeremy also referees during the winter, which really complicates things.  Basically that is my long-winded excuse for not keeping up with my blog.

Here is a recap:
January-Big news: Lori is having a boy! Maisy turned 7.  My sweet girl is getting so big.  I am enjoying her company more and more.  She is hard working, competitive, smart, happy, and extremely honest.  She continually amazes me with her observations of the world, other people and herself.  Maison is really in tune to the undercurrent of a conversation and the emotions of others.  She uses it too.  She can verbalize the motives for her actions better than most adults, I think.  She also has accurate predictions of the responses of others.  She has some pretty wicked social skills when she wants to use them.   For her birthday we took 3 friends to the American Girl Store to the doll spa and out to dinner.  It was a hilarious evening.  Below are some of my favorite pictures.

Gymnastics and indoor soccer rounded out Maisy's sporting events.  Carson was really busy with 2 flag football teams, baseball practice, and basketball.  Knox also started baseball.  He is officially a Rawlings Tiger...a very, very cute one and is keeping up with the big boys (They are 5.).
February-Big News: FINALLY-Snow Days! Knox learned to ride a 2-wheeled bike!
Carson started his first Science Fair project (Golden Gate Bridge model out of toothpicks) and built/launched his first rocket.  He continues to love building and rocketry is his newest obsession.

March-Big News: Best All Around in a Qualifing Meet!  1st Grade Musical   Geggie Night Live
Now, Spring Break!  We are staying  home this year.  I am thrilled! I have so much to do.  My list is a mile long.  I am really looking forward to some lazy mornings with my kids and accomplishing all the things I don't otherwise have time for.  I have reached the photo maximum for one entry, so log in again soon for some adorable gymnastics, musical and Geggie Night Live photos!
